  • Submit your details
    Be as detailed as possible so the chef/cook can provide you with the quality service that you are expecting. Your payment is held secure until you confirm that the service is performed to your satisfaction.
  • Follow up the Transaction
    Exchange files and feedback with the chef / cook via the built-in conversation and transaction management system. The chef / cook will deliver service within a specified time frame.
  • Proposal/Service Delivered
    Once you are happy with the service performed & delivered, you can mark the transaction complete, and we'll make sure that the chef / cook gets paid. Help the community by leaving a feedback for the chef / cook

+ - Who are the chefs/cooks?
The chefs/cooks you can hire through cook4me are certified and non- certified cooks. But, they are all screened by the cook4me recruitment team to ensure they meet our requirements to be able to use our platform. They are obliged to operate professionally and most especially, to be able to render a good cooking service to their clients. The chefs/cooks that would be hired through our platform also work full-time as private chefs or are working in restaurants and offer their services as a compliment to their every day job.
+ - Why should I book a private chef?
By hiring a private chef you will enjoy an unforgettable culinary experience without leaving the comfort of your home. Whether it is for breakfast, lunch and dinner between friends, a romantic night in, or a family reunion, this service will exceed expectations. Customize your menu and the chef will take care of everything else. This includes shopping, cooking, setting the table and cleaning up afterwards.

  • Preparation of the dishes in the client's house (There is the possibility of elaborating a time and place for the menus that require longer preparation time).

+ - How can I hire a chef through Cook4me?
From the homepage of the website, click on the search button and type in any kind of food you want. You will get to see the profiles of chef/cooks around your neighborhood that has the food you typed in their menu , and then you can look through and select which one of the profiles of chef/cooks you prefer and start a conversation by messaging them. When you have chosen a chef/cook you like, Once you have confirmed the reservation, information can be exchanged from both parties within our cook4me platform. Client can then proceed to pay for the services that would be rendered to them by the chef/cooks. We will hold the payment to the chef until the after the service, in order to guarantee that there are no incidents or inconveniences in the last second.
+ - How do I choose a chef?
The description of the chefs' past experience and training, as well as the pictures of the dishes are all very important factors, but don't forget to also look at the reviews given to the chef by previous customers. Read all the evaluations and check the scores other customers have given the chefs/cooks. Use this information to judge for yourself and choose a chef right for you. In cook4me.nl we believe that the opinion of the customers is the best way to measure the quality of the chef. Don't forget to tell us what you think and review your chef after the service.
+ - Can I talk to the chef prior to making a reservation/order?
Of course you can. If you have any questions about the dishes, preparation time, arrival time, the necessary utensils etc, simply send a message through the online chat which is applicable for every chefs/cooks profile and proposal.
+ - What happens if the chef cancels the service?
Don't worry! We will refund you fully and we will help find you a new chef/cook and service similar to the one you originally requested or better still you can always go back to search for other chefs/cooks through our chefs profiles. For more information, you can read the cancellation policy.
+ - How does the customer review section work?
Customer reviews are a key aspect for Cook4me, since they allow us to obtain objective information, from the customers, about the chef. At the same time, they help future customers to choose the chef most suitably equipped for their event. Right after the service, the customer will receive a feedback survey, to evaluate the chef. They will be able to express their opinion and experience during the service.
